Stations on Platforms on Gradients

I'm trying to add a passenger-enabled station (AJS 50s) to a platform on a steep gradient. It's a problem since the station cannot be "rolled". The track levels out, and the passengers at the high end of the platform are buried up to their necks. (amusing but not really on.)
Can anyone suggest a way round this problem?

BTW the station is Platform 14 at Kings Cross in ECML.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

Maybe instead of having visable passegers, you could place static people there and instead use an industrial track which does allow roll?

Just a few thoughts. I personally dont even use the passenger industry sometimes and just opt for the static objects and using the 'open door' command...

cheers

I would say that you have found one of the limits to a one-size solution. Some stations have such unique geometries that you just have to build a purpose built model and can not just use various pieces from a kit.

Hmmm, not a bad idea, thanks!

The physical station isn't the problem, it's already built in ECML. The problem is that the invisible station can't be tilted.

Ah, what I meant was a built-in station with its own passengers. I don't have much experience with invisible stations since all of mine have their own passengers. :)

I have a DEM of Altoona and Enola freight yards ... nearly impossible to lay track and yard ladder turnouts on a 0.41% gradient.

Iron out the area to an resonable height using the plateau terrain tool, place your assets or switches, worry about the gradients later ... or eliminate the gradients in the problem areas altogether.

Have you tried adding these tags to the config.txt of the asset?
Its not enough to do this since most station assets will then rotate around the wrong axis.

The second series of my Station Kit can be rotated to follow a grade, <kuid:122285:3401> is a single platform version. The roll angle is limited to 5 degrees in the config because the passengers will lean to one side rather than standing vertically.

This works perfectly. Thanks Andi, problem solved.

EDIT: One thing to watch for, if you change the roll after you have attached your tracks, the tracks will become detached.

Thanks,
Mick Berg.
