G'day All, I have two missing kuid's in the route The Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad (SR&RL) srrl20final kuid:64598:100351.
The missing kuid's are by Peter Pardoe-Matthews (narrowgauge) and I have searched the DLS, google, and trainzone but no luck.
The missing kuid are:-
Unknown Location: <kuid:44700:15051>
Unknown Location: <kuid:44700:19237>
Any assistance as to what and where these assets are would be appreciated.
Regards

I didn't catch this thread. My apologies. Did you try Trainzone? If it is not there email me and I will send you the files. I am currently updating the entire roster to TS12 SP1 standards with the intention of putting the files on the DLS.

Question for you, what commodities would be carried in the box cars around the 1920-1940 era?

Peter

Hi Peter,

Since I come from New England perhaps I can chime in on the commodities. The Narrow Gauge Railroads probably carried lumber and wood products out and general goods, and food products in. These were built up in the central Maine paper-and lumber producing region of the state. There was one line, however, that ran to Wiscasset and that probably carried fish and seafood products out as well as general goods and wood products in.

Today, the region is a big tourist place with its rivers and scenery. Rangely Lake is known for its trout and bass and the Sandy River for its rapids and kayaking. This is a far cry form the heyday of lumber and woods products.

Thanks, John

Barrie, I need to know more about the missing bits. The name and what they are missing from and any other details as those two numbers don't appear in my list. Those numbers would be rolling stock of some sort and with those KUID they should not be dependencies.

kuid:44700:15051 appears to have been a pine log load on disconnects. The name will tell me more You could replace it with kuid:44700:15050 or kuid:44700:15052. These are the same type. If it is important I will see If I can make it. That dates back to UTC, in Trainz terms that is prehistoric.

kuid:44700:19237 is supposed to be a gondola with a ballast load. It appears it got lost the last time I did the SR&RL updates to build 2.7. Ignore this if you can for the moment, all the coming uploads will be all loadable and the coaches and combines will have passengers.
