Spline Vertex Height

dricketts

Trainz Luvr since 2004
When using the get vertex height tool does the number represent any real measurement like meters or feet above sea level?

I believe that all the height measurements are in meters as well ,ground, object, and vertex. From what I`ve been told you can`t change this, it`s always in meters.

Learning the metric system is easy.

This may help:

feet to meters

I just keep a calculator next to the computer when I'm working Trainz. Multiply feet by 0.305 and you have the equivalent in meters.
:)

I use that all the time to convert the length of bridges, sidings, the placement of stations according to milepost figures, etc.

Cheers,

... and for those of us who threw away our last calculator yonks ago ... you could use the one built into Windows - its just a press of the windows key on the keyboard to switch between Trainz and the calculator (once you have started it running).:)
