Spline trees problem in beta 1

Hi.

On my route I'm using lot and lot of spline trees and while driving I remarked that most of them are transparent letting the background objects visible behind the trees. I hope this have been reported by the testers ??? I know in TRS 2006 we have this little problem, but its worst in beta 1.

Auran have dropped support for 'alpha blending' (the method used to make them transparent). This means that alpha blended trees (both normal and spline) will have this problem. The fix it to put pure black/white alpha channels onto the object, unfortunately this is a change that the creator would need to make.
Basically it's know that it does this, and it's actually not technically a bug, but just a change.

Thats rather disappointing, i always liked the appearance of Alpha blended trees as opposed to 1 bit alpha trees, i wouldve thought auran would fix this with 09 instead of just abandoning the issue, especially seeing the amount of objects created using this technique.

Like Nikos1, I'm extremely disapointed to hear that. I have tons of splines trees on my route !!! What I'll have to do to correct the problem ? Is there any replacement spline trees available in TS 2009 ???

I'm sure some of the creative people will be working on this soon if not already. There will be a huge market for replacement trees.
