Speedup Key - Not Working

The Speed-Up Key stopped working. If you depress Enter while running a route the display would noticeably speed-up when yo depressed the Enter key. Happened on and off for years. A new install was needed to restore it. Is there any other method to restore the Key since I ceased installing new Trainz versions?

Check your key assignments while in Trainz under settings which is located under the hidden 3-bar menu bar located in the upper left corner. The key assignments are located under Trainz Interface settings.

shift key will speed up the simulation if debug enabled, but it can cause issues depending on your build.

Viola, Settings (top left), Debug features set to ON and now, after years of frustration the Speed UP is returned.
