After I updated to SP5 things have been going wrong, like unable to place trackside objects on third party rails, and Trainz force closing. Does anyone know any possible solution to get around this?

It doesn't work with the replace tool in Trainz.

What does work, though, is that I've just tried it: list the dependencies of the route in the CM

and then delete all the tracks.

The route then shows missing dependencies, which you can then download again via the CM

and then everything works again.

There are three ways. N3V's way is to export the track to a cdp in Content Manager and reimport it, or as Beko says delete the tracks and redownload from the DLS.

My way is to open the track for editing in Content Manager then submit it. For built-in track, you need to revert to original.
