Do I have to download them again?

Right now they have been uninstalled - did that weeks ago due to the DLC only Passenger asset (commodity) issue.

I have the original installation files, downloaded from the "store" - can I still install from them or do I have to download them all over again?

Nope. The program will download the updates within the main screen. After that you should be all set.

Update: Here's what I have done to get SP1 working without problems: This may be drastic measures, but I have everything backed up off the computer to restore later. I am slowly adding my content back in, just in case, to see if anything new should to arise. Complete uninstall of all TS12...
reboot...
install only TS12, no add-ons...
reboot...
installed SP1, then reboot...
Quick Database Repair, reboot...
finally Extended Database Repair...
then final reboot. And now, here's results.
Seems to be working. I thought I had problems with Mojave again.
Instead, it seems that it is just more restricted or locked down, as I don't remember there being a unlock feature required for the default built-in routes.
So, I selected edit route for Mojave, resaved as a new name (Mojave SP1 test)
Created a session, SP1 session test, and found that it carried over same properties as built in.
That's where I saw this unlock required to proceed with changes.
So, the original Jointed Rail issue seems to be alleviated. And just so every one is aware, there will be new WARNINGS, which can be safely ignored, that Content Manager 3.7 does extra checking to create these: Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing. (this was there before, the others that follow are new to me)
Warning: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'mesh_art/mesh_art_512.texture'.
Warning: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'mesh_art/mesh_icon.texture'.
Warning: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'mesh_shadow/black.texture'.
Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'.
Warning: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'. Also, there is this, on a few items: Warning: The texture 'gp40_body/window.tga' is a uniform color.
Warning: The texture 'gp40_shadow/shadowblacktexture.tga' is a uniform color. Again, I would just ignore them, as they are just WARNINGS. There will be something that explains all this coming down the road, I am sure. Hope this helps alleviate some myths a questions.

I am not sure if re-downloading will solve anything. The built in Mojave route is broke with this patch. I completely removed everything, rebooted, reinstalled just TS12, no add-ons. Patched it, and 35 minutes later, I am not able to do anything with the Mojave route. Locomotives sit there, no sound, no smoke, no driver, even though I selected several different built-in sessions. So, I see the name Jointed Rail, on this route. I heard about others having problems with Jointed Rail content after patching. I can only come to a final conclusion: DO NOT PATCH TO SP1, you will be disappointed. Wait until all bugz and errorz are gone through. Speaking about bugz, that little red and white bug symbol shows up now, on BUILT-IN routes. Lame.

Did you run an EDR after patching?

That should solve these kinds of issues. Right now I'm still running the EDR and will see the results tomorrow. 10 years worth of DLC takes a very long time to wade through.

Good Evening Frogpipe
Trainz will automatically download the DLC packs when you start Trainz. If it does not, then you can force it to download the DLC packs by clicking on the 'get content' menu, then click on 'redownload content'. Trainz will then redownload all of the DLC packs registered to your account.

So the answer is - YES.

I wasn't limiting the term redownload to activities taken outside the game, although that seems to have been the interpretation.

Am I going to be limited to non-FCT speed since I do not have an FCT?

Do we have patch first and then the DLC download directly into that or can we download to a file. What about SnC purchased from SnC and Murchison 2 purchased from sirgibby's site.

Ken

After you patch and then start Trainz up in surveyor all of the DLC that you have gotten registered in the Serial number area of Planet Auran will install itself into Trainz by itself.

Update: I did another complete removal and install, database repairs after SP1. Seems okay now. But, the built-in ATSF GP60M, GP60B, and the B40-8W all have a common problem: the front and rear bogey (trucks?) spin opposite rotations of each other. I checked with someone that is pre-SP1, they do not have this problem.
