SP Cab forward gone!

The SP AC-11 Cab forward is no longer available. The Free Forums Site was removed in September 2016 for Inactivity. When I go to Steamtrainz.org, it brings me to Yahoo. The AC-11 Is no longer!

If you want the original, try checking the Wayback Machine. That's how I got it, before I deleted it in favor of Phil's updated version.

I'll tell you how it goes....

Absolutely amazing. Thanks a million for updating it, Phil.

Yes! it worked! I've been trying to get the C&O H8 Allegheny, but it keeps on saying unknown assets. Now, I have it, and the Cab forward! Oh, and Phil, I admire your work, like the Bidye Traction Railroad for TANE, and all the locos that come with it. I use the UP switcher a lot....:D:p

Thought there weren't any SP Cab Forward's available in Trainz! This is great news!!! Thanks Josephlaban for bringing this to the attention of the Community; and thanks Phil ! :)

Hey guys! Not to look a fabulous gift horse in the mouth -well, I guess I am  - but while I had been overjoyed... :mop:euphoric by the link Phil provided [above] to his Drop Box: of around 16 (!!! :udrool: ) different BNaneal and Lilb locomotives (he had been given permission to add additional features to -great job BTW Phil), as for the Lilb: SP Cab Forward while it's a beaut; I was of course curious to see if it actually had its own custom "Cab" interior. While the cab looks nice, it's that of a reg. steam loco's cab [w/ a boiler in front]. Does anyone know of a interior cab one can config. that would look proper in it -one of locomotive history's more unusual, and great locomotives?

Check his site, there are pics. I have a number of his locos but not a cab forward.
Cheers,
Mike
I have visited his site before, but you can't really tell the quality from the pictures (unfortunately). Do you like the quality of his products?

I love the Lilb version; but I'm looking (if possible), for a model w/ that special "custom interior" a Cab Forward needs; as the interior is different from that of other loco's (of course -does an "about-face"). Also if anyone knows of an interior that can be used in place of the interior within the Lilb. While Paul goes into detail about the spec's of each loco; he does not mention of a special custom interior made just for the SP Cab Forward. I sent Paul an email relating to this issue.

... So you know what I'm gonna' do... !!! :udrool:

AN UPDATE

Well as you all might've suspected, I had purchased the SP AC-11 Cab Forward from: "Paul'z Trainz" and she is a beaut! ... AND yes, the SP AC-11 has a custom drive-able interior too! :udrool: I am ecstatic! Not to mention Paul has other Cab Forwards' available as well! The SP AC-3 Cab Forward [2-8-8-2] and the SP/UP AM-2 [2-6-6-4] :udrool:

So Josephlaban the SP Cab Forwards are all still alive, and well on Paul's Trainz site http://www.paulztrainz.myenet.info/inside/N_Cabforward_AC11.htm ; and through the link Philskene was so good to provide of the Lilb, to which he had added some features to (with permission). Thanks again Mikeaust for the heads up! :)

Ignoring the cab how does the quality of Paul's cab forward compare? It's hard to see from the images on Paul's site but it doesn't seem to be, what shall I say, particularly good.

Hey there Sir. Surprisingly good! I had thought the very same. (Before purchasing) I asked Mikeaust the very same question [within this Thread] because I had thought Paul's engine's didn't look "particularly good" either :hehe: The pictures on Paul's site certainly don't do his products justice! I think both the combination of the picture's having been taken from too "far away" and that most of Paul's pictures might represent an earlier guise of his locomotive's [as he asks what version of Trainz do you have, before making a purchase: "TRS 2004; TRS 2006, on up-to TaNE"] never having updated his picture's of possibly a TRS2004 version of his models, to a modern TS12 or TaNE version  I had taken pictures of the model from within TaNE for you; but [I am embarrassed to say  ] I don't know how the hell I can paste it to this here' Thread! :hehe: Do I need PhotoBucket? [It would seem to be the top "Headline" story today in Trainz news... AND not my purchase of a SP AC-11 Cab Forward -LMAO!!! :D ]

Anyways, the model works splendidly in TaNE SP2; and (while not the realism of the [few] steam locomotives "JointedRail" has done; and not a Steve Lerro [K&L Trainz] model); it's still of very good quality and comparable... certainly looks like something made as payware -if that helps! :) I had also purchased the complete set (of 3), SP AC-11 Cab Forwards from Paul; which incl. a "Daylight" livery as well! Absolutely breathtaking... especially when I had hooked up Trainboi1's incredible set of Daylight passenger car's to its tender [available for free on the DLS -of course] !!! :udrool:

-Give these engines a shot Phil, and all ya' other people ;)
