There are plenty of sites that have free fonts. Also check for shareware versions which are included with Office and other paint programs. They're close enough, and are usually knock-offs of the original. The only differences maybe a number is slightly different, or a letter might be a bit rounder. Just thinking off my head, Bitstream is another company that has fonts, so you might want to see what they have. I only linked to this website to show the font.
There are also shareware font collections you can buy. Check Staples or BestBuy. You can get 10,000 fonts for $20.00 or maybe a bit more if the package comes with clip art. Not that you'd need the clip art for train logos! I happen to be lucky in I have access to the real things.
Now if anyone needs a logo, let me know. I'm willing to help out and donate to "the cause" no strings attached. Just let me know in a PM, and I'll take care of it. If I can't do it, I'll ask my bro for help since he's still running the graphics business.
