Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern are in merger talks to create the largest railroad in North America that would connect the East and West Coasts.

I will be amazed if this happens. If it does, like Union Pacific has done with a bunch of others, it will change the NS to UP and create a heritage unit with the NS scheme for it.
