I am using trs 2006. In the scenarios where it is raining the rain sound completely overides the engine sound. Is there a way to either 1--decrease the ambient sound (rain etc) OR 2--increase the engine sound. I cannot hear the engine sound at all when it is raining.

There is a very major sound but in TRS2006. The preferred method of fixing this is to:
1. Use a non-onboard sound card
2. Decrease Sound card acceleration by at least one notch.

This may not fix your problems entirely, but it does help.
