While I do just about all of my route creating in S2.0, there are still two activities that require a return to the Classic version.
We are all familiar with the bulk update feature that is a work in progress for 2.0. While small scale updates and replacements are easy in 2.0, double click to select a long stretch of a spline or select multiple instances of an object, if your route spans many, many boards, finding and selecting every last one can be a pain. That's where the Classic with its "everywhere" parameter comes in handy. Wish they would hurry up and add that to S2
The second feature that I find very handy is when I want to show and mark contour lines. I Classic, I simply add some water and raise it to the required elevation. Then using a suitable spline, I trace the new shoreline. Then raise or lower the water and repeat. Once done, delete the water and I have a set of contour lines. I know there is a water effect layer in S2.0 but so far I find it too fiddly.
