Some addons not working/appearing

Alright so I downloaded some new loco's and fire up TRS2009 to check them out. I find them in the railyard and they wont show up.

Here's what I'm talking about:

Notice how I clicked on it and its non existing.

Usually means your missing dependencies. Take a look in CM if you are then drag the assets file into the download helper and download the missing stuff. If you not missing anything does it have errors/warnings? If so then it will only show up in compatibility mode.

It's showing in my TS2009, both railyard and surveyor.

In the case of locomotives dependencies can be bogeys, horn sound, engine file.... etc.

In CM when you view the asset is there a yellow puzzle piece with a "?" in the middle? This means its missing something.

There was a yellow '?' next to one of the files I downloaded.

What do I do next?

It would be much easier to help you if you would get the kuid number of the faulty asset and post it herel. Use Content Manager to see the kuid numbers of assets.

Drag that file to the download helper which is located in left panel of CM.

Then click start

It will search and download if the dependency is on the DLS. If it isnt then you will see a red bar at the bottom of CM saying kuid:xxxx: couldnt no be located on DLS.

And yes tell us the kuid number so we can help you find it.

I have no idea from where that loco is available or who the author is.

Are you sure that is the right kuid? Because it doesnt exist anywhere I could find.

try to view all dependencies and commit changes to them.

I just downloaded this loco to TRS2006 it downloaded 5 files and the loco is showing up .
I suspect your problem is that because this is 06 content TS2009 cant see it on the D/S
Go to the onllne D/S and locate it then select download helper the file should appear in your download helper in content manager then click onto start.
If for some reason it cant find the dependencies you need to locate them and download them from the online D/S

PS just check that the content it did download is not open for edit .
Click on the open for edit tab in content manager if you have a list of content showing up you need to left click to highlight them then right click and select edit and left click onto commit
