So

Hey Guys,

Well I now have a new PC my old PC was messing me about to much. I have the following under the lid:-

An Intel Core i5-2320 3ghz, 8 gig of RAM, 2 TB HDD and an ATI 2gb HD graphics card.

Its a good fast piece of kit and runs Railworks 3 Deluxe really well. So later on will also be adding Trainz 2012 to the collection.

I have to say my main focus at the moment is to get my website updated again as over the past two years its become pretty neglected, mainly due to the problems with a PC and a Laptop I had. But I want to try and put it behind me now and really see what I can do in both sims.

Cheers

Good to have you back

Good to se you around again. Looks like hybernating is your thing and why not skip till things really improve or is it more people improve on how to use?:hehe:
Anyway take your dustbin and broom and start clean up and give your trainz corner a fresh paint.

Roy;)

Rail****s! Is that where you've been? Could be treasonable, but you undoubtably qualify for a pardon!

No I suffered from what was clinacly known back in the day as Trainz Burnout. I gave it a rest and now that I have a PC and "some" spare time capable of enjoying trainzing whether its with Trainz or Railworks then i'd thought I would come back and see how things are going. I have to get trainz again but will only have one on the PC. I am not going through the hassle of having 3 or 4 different versions of trainz on the same PC.
Two terrabytes astounded me and when I saw I had 8 gig ram and 2 gig mem for the video card I was drooling on the floor.... it was embarrasing!!!

Well, I'm still here... sorta. I must admit I haven't had trainz on my pc in a lot of years but every once in a long while I do check in here. It is nice to see a few names in this thread that are still around these parts.... sinister fat controller.. hehehehe I wonder what Barney is up to these days?

Just wanted to say "hi" to an old hand! To have Hentis and CeeBee in one thread together is just like old times! Be well.

Well I started with Trainz way back when but I also took a couple of years off. I was playing with the other sim because the graphic were great. But when it comes to driving the steam locos it was just to hit and miss. So I came back with TS12 and I am really liking it. One thing is I don't seem to have as much trouble with missing asset/dependencies as I used to have. Another thing is more people are willing to share here (read freeware). I don't mind paying for some good stuff but not for just about everything. So I'm back and building me a route so if I can't find answers I will be asking a lot of questions.

Well I have to say is that although I love trainz I am liking Railworks alot more. OK the route building is a pain in the rear (but its the sceario creating that I am loving the hell of at the moment, but I still enjoy coming back here readingthe odd posts. Who knows Trainz might get re installed at some point on the ol girl!!
