Smoke is considerably lighter for identical config settings in the same asset then in TANE

The smoke in all my assets, which I fine-tuned in TANE, looks different in TRS2019 and is also considerably lighter. Dark black smoke turned into medium gray. Is this just an inherent part of TRS2019 and having the shaders, or is there something that can be changed in the config file, or is my copy simply working strange?
 
Your copy is working normally. Lighting changed in TRS19 and above a lot compared to TANE. You may have to adjust the ambient lighting because that can affect fog and smoke.
