Silly film about Brunel and the GWR

I recently remembered the animated film I helped to make many years ago, about Brunel and the GWR. It was called "Great: IKB" and is here on youtube:

I co-wrote a lot of the music and played banjo, synthesiser, bass etc on a lot of the tracks.

Interesting that everyone compares it to Monty Python. At the time we didn't intend any similarity. I guess it was just the style of the time. But now I see that it is intensely Pythonesque!

Some of that was quite pyschedelic especially planning the GWR bit, I'm thoroughly surprised that this wasnt made more popular.

Makes me proud to live in a town on the GWR, despite Queen Victoria hating the place. Another fasinating fact is that Brunel designed Reading Station during one of his tantrums, he deliberately made it difficult to operate by the railway authorities, Reading Station remains a nightmare for the operator to this day despite numurous refurbishments.
