Signals gone awol. TS12

Since the database repair/update this morning all my jr signals have disappeared or are invisible.
Is there a way of 'repairing' them or replacing piecemeal, it will take some time to replace one by one.
They do not show up red in Surveyor but no image.

Do they show up in the preview window in surveyor? You might try reinstalling them and see if they reappear. When it asks to over write, say yes and make sure you commit all of them. It's a pain, but it has worked for me when a few signals have played "hide and seek".

After a QDR or an EDR the first things to do are:
- In Contentmanager display all faulty objects
- Select all these objects
- Use 'Display Errors and Warnings'
This should remove all false error flags, introduced by the repair of the database.

It is now validating a mountain of objects, good news, but even though the two signals, jr ms 05 generic and 04 generic show in Surveyor (with no image) there is no sign of them in CM3.7 or on the DLS.
Edit: I now have them showing in Surveyor menu and Contact Manager but still cannot be picked.

Don't try to do this while the validation occurs because your system will appear to not respond and the screen may white out so let the validation finish up before you do anything else then check that they aren't open for edit which happens sometimes too.

Validation took some time, I have just run the two problem signals through Pev's tools and although they did not show faults they now show an image in Surveyor and work.
Due to the changes they do not show on the route but I am just happy they work again and will re-populate the route.

Throw me a lifeline someone!
That database update that appeared when I opened TS12 this morning needed a warning that it will screw your mind.
I noticed the signals missing and have done something about it with your help but I didn't noticed that there was only one complete consist and another without a loco out of ten consists.
All the drivers and instructions are intact., nine with nothing to do.
I have done another EDR and validated all the locomotives which achieved nothing.
Surely I am not the first to be afflicted?
Agitated Rog.

This sounds like you've been hit with a bit of data corruption from something. Did your computer turn off unexpectedly from a power outage, or did you not wait a few minutes after closing Trainz before turning off the computer? These actions can cause a boatload of problems.

In Content Manager, once all this has finished repairing, again check that they are not marked as faulty after the DBR, and that they don't need to be reinstalled if these are DLC. Also check for anything that's marked open for edit. This can happen if there was a crash while editing a route.

Keep in mind that there will be a big validation so you should wait before you try this. (You've experienced this already!) The DLC is reinstalled in Trainz its self from the download content function right on the main menu. There's an option there to redownload purchased content.

I sometimes leave the computer on overnight to let finish an EDR or validating, this is when the problem may occur, we are prone to power interruptions.
Strangely the route is not saved under my name and I have now lost the session.
I think this is now an abandoned route and it is back to Ts2010

That would 'splain what happened; I've had this happen myself in the past so now I have a UPS or uninterruptable power supply. This will at least buy you 20 minutes or enough time to shut your computer down yourself. You by don't by chance happen to have National Grid? :)

You need to reenter your username and all that stuff, including perhaps your serial number to have access to your content. This information may, as in usually does 99% of the time, get wiped out by an EDR.

Thanks for that, I'll try it . Although only 8 miles from the city centre it is still classed as 'in the sticks' and prone to power glitches in bad weather.
