Signals are working backwards!!!!

This is REALLY pissing me off now.

I've spent months laying out a route. Tracks, stations, yards, trees everything. Now I've gone to place signals no matter what I do they work backwards! I get green when it should be danger. And red when it should be clear. I've relaid ALL the track again TWICE to make sure all track is in the same direction. To back this up I've added thousands of Track direction markers and I still get stupid signals!

It doesn't matter which set of signals I use or how simple or complex the junction is. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

In the example shown the curved branching track approaching a curved mainline might result in the branch going to the right before turning left (as viewed). Try zooming in close to the junction and you might see it. Try adding a new spline point just after the branch and drag it to the left, you might need to realign the track a bit further into the branch to get a smooth curve.
It is usually better to have a short length of straight track either side of a junction, not always prototypical but it does avoid bad alignment of junctions.

Oh for **** sake! :hehe:

As a test to your suggestion I just quickly tightened the curve and it worked. This has been driving me insane. It kind of shows how accurate I am at making curves though as twice I've relaid the tracks and had the same problem. I guess thats one positive (as well as the knowledge gained).

Thanks dnevans8

Its only 4pm and I need a beer!
