Signal Struggle

Hi everyone.

I'm having a serious struggle at finding some good up-to-date LMS Upper Quadrant Semaphore signals. While I am aware of various ones on the DLS which are from Trainz 2004, I was wondering if there were any new ones which I could use. I know that Trainz Classics 3 contains a truck load of them, but I think that might flow into the compatibility issue if I used them, since they arent on the DLS.

Does anyone know where I might find some good quality, new(ish) signals that I can use? Even if they arent LMS, I dont mind - I just really don't want to use GWR signals because they never really... 'worked' for me in terms of style.

Hi Conductorphil.

There's a several recently new detailed and existent updated LMS UQ (Upper Quadrant) Semaphore Signals based on the signals in TC3 on the DLS for TS2009 and higher, search keyword (UQ) in the search box under the (Trackside Accessories) category. There's also 3 packs of UQ/LQ (Lower Quadrant) LMS/MR semaphore signals on the Settle and Carlisle website under Content/Additional Signals.

Thanks for the info. I had a look but it appears that none of these contain the usual "Home" and "Distant" Signals, as they would already be incorporated into the game which the content was originally designed for. The same seems to apply for the DLS. Any other ideas?

Last I know is the Settle and Carlisle add-on for TS2009/TS12 which has updated home/distant and the rest of the semaphore signals from TC3, including more variants of the semaphores and more different types of LMS signals from minimum clearance semaphores and a several others for TS2009/TS12. Most if not all of the semaphores come with TC (Track Circuit) diamond versions as well.

G'day!

Search "chrisaw" in Author on CMP and type "sig" above his name in the "search" tab. There are some nice Semaphore signals by Chrisaw. No sure if they are LMS or not but they are very nicely made signals.
