here is something you don't see everyday, a 2-10-0 Decapod wearing a deep sounding steam whistle with a passenger train, normally, this type of engine is seen on branch lines and/or on light to moderate sized freight trains, but once again exceptions were known to be made, such as the case with the Pacific and Hudson being unavailable since they sometimes handle freight train assignments.
TrainzPlayer14 .. Thank you . My old route hit a major setback , it got deleted . LOL And what was backed up , isn't measuring up anymore . So it's a new route , greatly inspired by Coal country from JiontedRail by Richard Ness (Scratchy) . With and Pennsey NEC flair . Hasn't been named . Much smaller then my usual . But Coal is the major commodity .
Starting a Horseshoe route at this point isn't in me , so ??
Thanks for the comments , Yours as well is looking good .
Hi Matt, thanks for the response. I'm sorry to hear you lost your old route but glad you have gotten to building a better one... I am also in the same boat with you on "I don't have a name for my route yet..." my route is right now, literally titled "idk" lol
I used to have a route as well, before the one you see, but I eventually just deleted it because it no longer lived up to my standards
And I appreciate the comments as well, means a lot to me.
applegathec, loving the route. I love the blend of the familiar with the what if to make it your own. May I ask, the Blue Island bridges in message 2193, are they custom-content?
My contribution from playing in the Pacific Northwest:
BNSF L-WAS110 leaves Canal Street Yard southbound with a venerable SD7 and 30 cars, mostly lumber loads and plastic pellets.
Some (very) WIP shots of Spring Creek Central, this time on the outskirts of the city of Spring Creek
Willowdale (Suburb of Spring Creek) -
Farmland -
This is my first route I've built that I actually like, though there is still lots of work to go. Once it's done i'll put it on the DLS, but I want to make it look good so expect a lot of planting of grass, bushes, trees, etc. I really like the DaveSnow "Right-Hand Drive" region. I'll keep this thread updated
Taking a swing at a new route. This one is a division of Southern Railroad along the mythical Tenasi River Valley. This picture contains two full days of work!
The View from the thriving town of Hundley near the Tenasi River. Below is a view of the Old Hundley Distillery with the town behind it looking Southwest.
