Nicely done Preston725, If I could get some locomotives, consists, and buildings from the 1800's, I could set up the U.S. Transcontinental Railroad. I could even follow the railroad's story through the U.S. Civil War. Anyone have some clues on how to download such items from the download station for 2009, and 2010?

You older guys might get this, ( Have ever thought the world was a tuxedo, and you were a pair of brown shoes ) Man the shots here are good, really great shots all of ya

Here we have several passenger trains on their way to and from the Cincinnati terminals. You can see as they pass under the Zinzinnati Zeppelin Works on they're destinations. Rumor has it that they are some new Zeppelins in the pipeline and I hope so ;).

I'm just a few weeks into my new T:ANE route "The Redcliffe Line". This route is based on a factual new branch line that will run from Petrie Station on Brisbane's North-side to Kippa-Ring on the Redcliffe Peninsula; and due to be officially launched sometime in 2016. It's purely a passenger commuter route, but because it winds through some quite pretty countryside, I thought it may be a bit of a challenge to get it to look right. For me it's still a W.I.P. So far the track, the catenary, the stations and some detailing has been finished, but I'd like to see it through to completion and with a Session running to a timetable. I'd prefer to use QR EMU &/or QR SMU Passenger Sets to give it some authenticity.

I've attached a couple of screenshots so any constructive comments are welcome. Here's a taste .....

Rickley Bros. Iron & Steel Works

Portsmouth Quarry

Regards,

Nice looking route! Might I suggest one of these tracks? <kuid2:79563:90009:1>,<kuid:243828:1715>
I feel that the current track might be a bit too....American.

I know the track looks American, but i used the Smooth Terrain tool to create the topography under the tracks with gradients, and it comes up about .2 metres too short, so i wanted to use a track that has a large ballast mesh, like the ones i'm using. to cover up the space under the track that the topography didn't reach...if that makes any sense. :o

Also, it looks more like "model railroad" track than those two.

Glad you like it!

Regards,
