Show Off Your Routes *Potential For Large Screenshots*

As for better resolution: Make sure your screen resolution, on your computer itself is turned up to 1920x1080. Then, make sure your game's resolution (found in Start Up Menu -> Options -> Display Settings) make that 1920x1080 as well. If it isn't already this high, you're going to notice a major drop in FPS.

And for space between text, I have to use enter, I don't think there's another way of going about it. Holding in space til you get another line I suppose.

Still making slow progress on my route.

Hey all! I'm trying my hand at building a model railroad layout style of route. Here's a quick glimpse at the start. My "issue" is deciding on which trees to use. So many of the speedtrees look like crap, so I was reverting back towards billboard style trees. What do you guys think of the tree selection? I'm still not sure if I'm a fan... I'm searching for a good combination of trees that would represent the midwest/east coast. Anyone have a suggestion on a handful of different types of trees they use? Pofig has some nice looking speedtrees, but they are not on the DLS, and I would like to use as many "easy to find" items as I can on the route so that I can upload it when finished. Please feel free to critique and suggest some good pieces of foliage. Thanks!

Chase

I think those trees look perfect! To be honest with you I like billboard better than Speed Trees, to much lag and some times of the day make them look wierd.

Hey Chase, I think it looks good! I'm eyeing that concrete rail bridge that you used; looks good for it's location. Would you mind sharing a KUID and location of the deck and supports too if they are separate assets?

Thanks for the input guys! I'll check out the trees by those 2 creators.

The bridge itself is made of a few shorter spans of SAM VS Viaduct 6.6m (there are multiple widths available on the DLS). kuid2:132952:100926:10
The supports are Bridge Pier 2, built-in to TS12. kuid2:60238:38120:1
And the track is simply JR Lt Grey laid on top of the bridge splines - hope this helps!
