Not that weird, even in the 60s-70s and sometimes even into the 80s there was that mixed bag, although a lot of transitions were made, id believe a short line like this could have similar arrays of equipment.
Coleton, you are correct here. If I posted a shot of a Keokuk Junction FP7 hauling some Bethgons or Bi-Levels, I may get the same ridicule. However, this is true to life.

I gotten as far as Paris, Kentucky on my L&A route. Need to add a lot more to the yard but I wanted to show off Dave Snow's locomotive service building. Also some of the L&A's big iron!
