To go along with Steve's fabulous MK-5 and SSW 819, I have over time done a little set for my 2 fictional lines in California, of course being in California much of the equipment is ex-SP and ex-UP.
Bringing up the markers is SP Business Car 107 'Del Monte' in 1916 condition as Henry Huntington's Personal Car.
Southern Pacific Business Car 151 'Pine Bluff', a common sight behind 819 in the 1980s.
Louisville & Nashville Mod. HW 'Ohio River' the fictional Gurtantown Central's CEO's personal car.
Southern Pacific 107 'Del Monte' in post-1930s SP Business Car Pool Condition, note the lower height windows, a reminder of her personal ownership days.
Southern Pacific 127 'Alamo' in 1920s condition
Union Pacific Modern Heavyweight 'Gurtan' (fictional name), the GTCRR's public observation Car.
GTCRR Lightweight 'Gurtanville Flyer' Trainset
794 & 819 (dressed as a GS-8) lead the NRHS Special returning toward Gurtantown.
One really doesn't notice the differences in those SP cars until you start reskinning them, different types of windows, different patterns, different light packages, different bogeys/trucks.
