Shaking madly

Has anyone had the problem of the map "jumping" a bit when you're in Suveyor? I know, poor explanation. I'll try to describe: It's like a 'twitch.' Almost like when your eye twitches. It's almost like the map position goes back a few seconds before it smooth stopped on the position where you right clicked to place the compass. Sorry, best I can do.

I've had it happen on some of the stock routes, and it's a minor irritation there, but I'm building a big route from scratch now, and after importing DEM data with TIGER overlays, it shakes like crazy, like there's a 9.0 earthquake or something (I'm pretty sure I didn't import any seismic activity :D )

Common, or just me and my Dual Processor? (Don't have the specs in front of me right now, but in general I'm running a AMD 64 Duo, 1.86 GHz each, 1GB RAM.

Is this on a laptop? Are you inadvertently activating the touchpad? I've noticed this on mine every now and then and I find my thumb is touching.

I had this problem big time until I got the correct drivers for my graphics card and then Boosh! it disappeared and everything was sweet.;)

I had the same problem with my AMD 64 Duo. I found an upgrade on the AMD site that corrected some timing problems with certain games. Although Trainz was not listed it seems to have cleared up the problem for me.

I'm on a desktop, so no finger pad to worry about.

Thanks for the input. I'll check for the most current driver, but I'm pretty sure it's up to date.

What patch did you find on AMD's site, and would you mind posting a URL here?

Thanks very much all!
