Settle and Carlisle

Just bought and down-loaded the Settle and Carlisle, but it doesnt show up in Driver and I have to start a seperate instance of Trainz from a different shortcut - is this normal or have I done something wrong?

It sounds like you installed it as 'stand alone' mode rather than installing it as an add-on to 2009. It might be that it couldn't find where you installed 2009, and you didn't notice the prompt to tell it where it is for a add-on installation.

You'll probably need to reinstall it.

It sounds like you have installed it as a standalone version - if you already have TS2009 or TS2010, it needs to be installed as an addon.

(This is based on what I have read elsewhere, so someone else will probably know more)

Easy fix, just copy the snc.ja file from the probably TS2009_snc/bin/builtin folder to the TSxxxx/bin/builtin folder, xxxx being 2009 or 2010. Start 2009 /10 what ever you have and add your S&C CD Key in the Launcher options, it will probably go into a database repair however it was fairly quick here.

If all goes well you can uninstall the stand alone, or as I did just leave it there.
