Setting properties of industry tracks when covered by scenery

Well Norm what can I say, I am totally embarrassed. I was using the Layer and not the Bounding Layer. I am 61 with bi focals ;)

This works quite well and I thank you for bringing this up as I also want to upload sessions people can use.

Well I'm 67 and just had cataract surgery in both eyes. :D Have fun and happy trainzing.

In your session, create a new session layer, call it Mask.
Hide the Mask layer.
Select the Spar tree and bind it to the mask layer.
The Spar tree should now be hidden, enabling access to the MIN.
Once you have finished the industry settings, Show the Mask layer again.

When the Bound Layer option first appeared in object property boxes in TS12 SP1 back about this time 2013, everyone (myself included) were left wondering "what on earth could it be used for?"

It has taken 4 years but finally some-one has found a practical use for it. Well done Trev999:clap:

Thanks to Trev999 for taking a big frustration out of Tane.

Rob

That he did, I have 9 MINs covered by a building that I could not use unless I editted and saved the route to my kuid, no good for uploading to the DLS.
