Set Subtitle Text Rule

Hello folks, I am working on a session with multi-language support (DE-EN-ES-FR-IT).

So far everything works fine, with HTML pages being properly displayed in the language selected by the user in the Trainz settings, taking the text strings from the various string tables

Now, I would like to add some subtitles, but from the description of the "Set Subtitle Text Rule" on the Wiki, it looks like the only way text can be added is by directly typing it or by referring to a variable. It the rule does not accept input from the string-table, i don't see any chance to have multi-language subtitles: is my assumption correct?

I just had a look at that rule and could not get it to accept a string table variable as an input, otherwise it worked just fine. So your assumption appears to be correct.

That Wiki page was written by coop2 and myself so it looks like a minor rewrite is required.

I like to make multi-language sessions, so this capability is very important to me. I have tinkered a little with this rule in the past as I worked on a previous session but I also was unable to use a string table entry.

I think that adding multi-language capability to the objective-associated text would also be nice.
