Sessions in layouts!!

Around since 2001
I was wondering why there have been no new sessions since 20th July, then noticed that there are now quite a few sessions mixed up in the layouts section of the DLS. They have the 'layouts' icon attached but are clearly sessions, in some cases, even named as such! Terry.

Hmm. The last session to appear was 20th July, last building 17th July but there have been locos up to 3rd August, well, engine spec actually. Does this mean that these categories are being dropped, I wonder? They're still in the filters but of course you now can't successfully search for a session because they are all labelled as layouts from 20th July. Terry

What's probably happening now is that category-class tags are being used more than kind tags which may not be correct in some assets.

All I know is that it's now very difficult to search for a session when they're hidden amongst all the layouts. I used to look at new sessions, decided what looked interesting and from there I could automatically see the layout on which it was operating. When something marked as 'This is a session for the xxxx route' is categorised as a 'layout' it just doesn't seem to make sense to me. Would someone at N3V care to comment? Terry

Well, today another session appears in the scenarios section. Is this a sign of things returning to normal? Terry

Looks like SP1 is going to affect all of us even if we dont patch.
I have been trying to draw attention to this problem for a while now.

Not only are things being put in the wrong sections, the changes to the TYPE is causing updates to not be recognised by the CM.

This menas that often the only way to update is to manually change the kuids in the config.
Cheers,
Mike
