Server Issues?

Hey Guys

I've been using content manager for a few weeks and have Just the other day Enabled my First Class Ticket,

i am now Getting a orange bar at the bottom of the window
"Unable to download, Server Appears to be full try again Later"

This has been happening for 3 days

Is it My Ticket, The Content manager, something at My end or something else?

how would i fix this? I dont want my Ticket to go to Waste :(
 
On the page you are reading, scroll to the top and click on "Profile". When it opens, log out, then log back on. I'm told that fixes it for 99% of the cases.

Be forewarned that it did not work for me in the same situation. I had to access the download station apart from CMP, then downloaded something through the FCT page. After that one item downloaded, them CMP worked as it should.

In closing, I would advise you to try different methods of downloading until something clicks.....not scientific, no, but it worked for me.
 
getting absolutely sick of these turkeys....

after being promised 3-6 week delivery time (which I thought was excessive for less than 1500km) and not recieving anything after the 6weeks, I sent numerous emails, and lodged several helpdesk tickets to no avail (other than a couple of 'we have recieved your ticket' emails (curiously less acknowledgemnets than tickets lodged)). At twelve weeks, with still no response (VERY bad customer sevice) I contacted QLD's Dept of Fair Trade to seek reimbursement. By remarkable coincidence, within a few days each of my tickets had been given an (automated) reply that things were very, very busy and (for one reason or another) their helpdesk had accumulated to the point where their best course of action was to dump all existing helpdesk tickets and ask for people to resubmit (with still no response to my emails, of course). Some days later, the program was delivered, with (an almost illegible) 'Sorry for the delay' scrawled accross the invoice...

But I digress - suffice it to say, I have been less than impressed with Auran's attitude to it's customers for some time. The first FCT I used had some minor issues, though I found time fixed (most of) the problems I had with it (ie it worked a couple of days later with no coaxing) - although I got sick of the headaches before seeing that one through, to it's completion...

Having recently returned to Trainz, I decided to activate my remaing FCT. It was little surprise to me when I encountered problems and started to show symptoms of what everyone here is describing ('Server Full').
I have read numerous forum opinions and have reset my password (according to one thread it works in 90% of cases), logged in and out of auran online (apparently works in 99% of cases according to another thread), tried wiping auran entries from the registry, reset the download count and probably many other things I have forgotten. I have also searched the forums for any information - but every response seems to either be one of the two 90%+ options above, or links to threads that seem totally unrelated.

Does anyone have:
a) an explanation of the CAUSE (other than Auran instability) {knowing cause may help me think of workaround}
b) a suggestion (other than the aforementioned) on how to FIX it {I am running XP on a reaonably aged Celeron ~3Ghz, 512MB RAM - Trainz 2006}

Sorry for the rant, but over time I have become increasingly disappionted (and even a little angry) - After buying MS TrainSim some years ago, I fwas recommended Trainz by some colleagues - and as it was Australian had little hesitation trying it. The program is great, however the headaches surrounding it are enough to turn anyone off it!!!

It's really a shame (and I hate to say it), but it ain't worth the effort!!!!

Hey I just wanna say this is my first time posting. Also Would like to say that after a dozen sign-in's and out's I tried the method above, downloading something from the FCT page and it's working from the CMP now.
