serial number

Welcome to the forums and to Trainz.

If you purchased Trainz from N3v (auran), you can contact the help desk and the support team can help you sort out your problem.

Before you contact the help desk, check your email and in particular your junk folder. Your serial number maybe in there along with your download link. Another place to check your for your serial number is in your Planet Auran account. Check your purchase history and your serial number will be in there.

I recommend copying the serial number from there and pasting it into the field when asked to put in the serial number. When you register your program, after launching Trainz the first time, do the same. Paste your serial number in the corresponding box. This will not just save you time while typing the serial number, it will also ensure you have typed the key the right way the first time.

Tried to buy TS12 myself an hour ago, got a fatal error after hitting the submit button so waiting for the helpdesk to see if I got billed or not. Talked to one of the N3V guys on facebook a few minutes ago, he says they're still debugging the new shop website. Patience, a day or two of glitches won't kill us.

its still not good enough, i got download links and no serial number, from www.simulatorcentral.com and i happen to also been registered for here cause my username and password work here, i just want the serial key

Not sure if this would work for orders made via the brand new Simulator Central site, but try this:

1. Click the "Planet Auran" button at the top of this page.
2. If necessary, log in with your username and password.
3. Click the "Legacy Order History" link in the menu on the left.
4. If you see your order in the resulting list (again, I'm not sure if this will work with the new Simulator Central site), click the invoice number.
5. See if there is a serial number for Trainz on the resulting page.

Simulator Central is obviously N3V's new, just-launched online shop, apparently replacing the old Auran Shop. I guess by purchasing from there you were also registered at Planet Auran (the base member system of the Trainz community) and therefore the Trainz community and forums.

Regards,

Zachary.

Like I said, new website, so no guarantees yet. I went through the whole process, entered my credit card number, entered the validation code, all finished ready to check out, hit the submit button and got;

fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 86 bytes) in /var/www/html/External/simulatorcentral/lib/Zend/Db/Statement/Pdo.php on line 294

So I don't know if the order is hung up in cyberspace or never went through, waiting for a response to the heldesk ticket. It's probably gonna take a while, if they're having teething pains right at the start of a new website and big sale they probably have 290 zillion helpdesk tickets to sort through in addition to figuring out what's wrong with the software.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience with these issues. We are working as fast as we can to fix these errors and we appreciate your patience on this matter.

Lashton67, thanks for bringing the missing serial keys to our attention. You’ll be pleased to hear that this matter is fixed, and you will receive your serial key via email shortly.

Sniper297, we’re still looking into that fatal error message that you received, and we’ll let you know via your helpdesk ticket when we have further information.

Thank you to everyone else who is helping us put our new store through its paces; we apologise for any inconvenience and hope the massive discounts on offer can make it up to you.

Kris

Brand new website and ya broke it already. :hehe: BTW, I was trying to buy it under my son's name (already got TS12 but we can't multiplayer until he has a serial number for it) so look for topham217 for the ticket name. Trying to buy out the store while it's hot, you gonna extend the sale to compensate for the time it takes to get the new website kickstarted?

Got the same thing now, when I looked at the new website I see that the order did go through after all - but trying retro's suggestion I get "No orders have been placed from this member profile" on the old Auran shop. Got the email in my son's mailbox with the download links, but no serial number - since I already have TS12 copied over to his computer to make sure he can run it, I was hoping to just reregister that copy with the new serial number instead of downloading the whole smash for the next week on this slowpoke DSL. I hope there will be a way, cuz I got 4% of the first file downloaded and it's saying 7 hours 35 minutes to go for just the first one.

Hey all,

You should shortly be receiving an email with your serial number(s) in it. Please let me know if you haven't received the email in the next two hours and we will see what we can do for you.

Cripes, 0100 here and I gotta stay up until 3? Altho come to think of it, my beauty sleep hasn't been working the last 30 years anyway. :hehe: I'll keep an eye on it, let you know here.

Maybe it's better to go to bed and check in the morning? It could be like winning the lottery! You wake up and you're a winner. :hehe:

Trouble with that is by the time I wake up, all you upside down cobbers would be asleep, so you'd have to wait until the following day to find out if jiggling the spark plugs on the server worked or not.
