Serial # doesn't activate game.

I've requested help from the help desk a number of times. Received Trainz EE 2010 as a gift. The serial # on the manual doesn't activate the game - looks like there may be a digit missing at the end. Suggestions in getting a response from Auran or in activating the game? Would really love to play the game.

Your serial number should have 24 characters. Watch out for O's and 0's

I assume you clicked onto the helpdesk link on the forum?
If so I assume you also created a ticket and gave a description of your problem?
If so you have to go back to helpdesk and check to see if there have been any replies to your ticket or tickets.
Helpdesk does not send out e-mails to advise you when or if replies have been made.
make sure you do not confuse letters with numbers on the serial number
letter O number 0 letter l number 1 letter S number 5 ect

It's missing a letter.

That's what I thought. The sticker placed on the back of my manual is missing the last letter/digit.

Yes. I created a ticket, described the problem in detail and have checked back to see if there has been a reply. No confusion on 0 vs. O; the manual only shows 23 characters.

Honestly, if it were me, and I was sure it was just a missing digit at the end (3 digits in the last group), I'd just try different letters and numbers till one took. There are only 36 possibilities and the odds of you getting the same serial as a future registrant, probability-wise, are remote to say the least.

Duh! Thanks so much for the brilliant, yet so obvious, suggestion. I'll give it a shot.
