SEPTA

Make sure that the cab faces against the train in either direction unless you have a loco on on one end, but still turn the cab car against the direction of the train.

Ya @Kon1786 i have a ? were does the Amtrak go after it leaves 30th St. Station. Well i mean ik were it goes but how does connect with the R2? Because i went on google Maps and foloed the train tracks to that station and on the map RRSignal posted the R7 makes a big loop heading to Cheastnut Hill and it looks like the Amtrak follows thats my only problem i just need to know were it goes after it leaves 30th St.

Well, I rode a Metroliner back in Penn Central times and I remember this well. Heading south from 30th Street Station, the Amtrak trains head beside I-76 and then moves over, duck under South Street, pass the former Pennsylvania Railroad line to South Philadelphia, pass the now closed Aersnal Interlocking Tower and merge into the Northeast Corridor. Before merging, the trains encounter crossovers to switch them over so they are on the right side of the tracks. (If you catch my drift.)

There is is some MARC and Amtrak stuff at Trainz Commuter Rail. You might want to talk with Strench707 as he is modeling DC-NYC. Also go to blockstation.net for track diagrams of the NEC from Trenton to DC (and to Harrisburg.)

Long story short, the R2 westbound (southbound) usually terminates at Wilmington during the weekday, though there are a few runs as far as Newark, DE. Some trains also (unless things have changed in the last few years) terminate at Marcus Hook, especially on the weekend. I've ridden the R2 to all three.

Here is the link for the SEPTA cars. http://trainz.luvr.net/projects-view.php?pid=527 They look very nice, and they're 2004 compatible. You could use them with a locomotive, or run them by themselves with the cab cars. So what if they don't have pantographs. You can ride in the coach. If you don't like the way they look, you could reskin them to suit your own tastes. They look close enough to commuter coaches for now.
