Oh, so that is why Auran has been delaying 2009. They have a stupid box racing game for the Wii. YAYZ!!!

Seriously, that game does not look like that much fun, or that great.

You must have put real effort into this one! Interesting to see one of my screenshots in there... Can't say i recall giving permission?

Sorry JRT, but IMHO it needs a bit of work--at the moment all the "about me" stuff reads like a giant ad for "this is how cool I am." A bit overblown, perhaps? Read Model Railroader--they can sum up a person in five or six sentences, not a few pages.

Turbo Trainz does appear insanely nutty. No thanks.

Hmmmm

It is normal practice in ANY publication however well-meant that prior to publication copy is forwarded for perusal to anyone intimately concerned with an article. Very bad form indeed to exclude that simple step....

What article are you talking about anyway?
My article was about Euphod, not myself, which was not totally written by me. Deeelare helped, and excuse my bad writing, I am still learning journalism.
I really hope some people enjoyed my column.
I worked on it for an entire month.
And everybody needs to cut us a break, TM is still fairly new, the baby doesn't walk right after birth.
We are working on it, currently re-doing it.
Just please be patient and do not give up on TM, It will get better.
And like I said I really hope everybody enjoyed the Euphod article, I only wish it could have been better, Euphod deserves that utmost of respect.

Thank you for your feedback. I will look into your suggestions. Remember, re-formating and getting it so everyone likes it again is a ongoing process.

Dermmy I have read that some magazines do this but not all. This would be good practice for TM when I use information from your site and others. This is the first time I have used already written material for the cover story.

robbiehanson What is IMHO? Please be more specific. Yes, I do agree the bios were a little long but like I said it's all part of the learning process.

Rugrat Please PM me what image of yours was included.

Cheers,
JRT

The biographies are there to introduce the reader to who the people writing the articles and columns are, they are long, but they won't be in every issue.
We took this issue as a chance to get the reader used to a new format and the new writers too.
TM is changing, but for the better, I have full confidence in JRT and everybody at Trainz Magazine.

Cheers,
Woody:)

As far as I know, IMHO is In My Honest (or humble) Opinion.

I see a lot of people wanting to bag JRT for doing something he enjoys doing. Ok, so things he's doing might not be correct, but please give the young fella a chance.

Instead of bagging JRT, how about offering him some encouragement and if he's doing something wrong, tell him but not so abbruptly. There's a couple of comments in this thread that are really unfair on a young bloke who's just doing this as a hobby.

I don't read this magazine myself, but I think the way JRT does the cover looks very professional. You keep going with this publication JRT, if you enjoy doing it, that is the main thing. Don't let a few unwarranted comments in this thread discourage you.

10/10 for effort.:D

Upon having a look at the latest issue, I can see the effort that goes into this publication. Very informative and original, I like the tutorial on constructing a bike bridge. Called kitbashing in route building terms. Awesome JRT, I like the magazine.

colhad As I said, I welcome feedback. You can't improve anything without feedback. I don't mind people sharing their views and concerns, that is how I will continue to improve Trainz Magazine. As you said yourself, there are a few items I am not doing correctly in your eyes. if you could please share them I would appreciate it.

Just to clear-up an item, TM is operated as a business under Telllman Enterprise.

Thank you all for your support.

Thanks again,
JRT

JRT,
It is still not there.
PM me the address that you are mailing to, just to make sure you have the right one.
I'm sure it didn't get mixed up in spam, but I'll check.
