SD9's

I already have the SD9's, how could I reskin them if I didn't have them?

Reskinning involves first cloning the asset to make a new one, then modifying the textures to create your own livery. This can be an issue with normal maps as they create a surface on the model. Older models, don't use normal maps and can be easily altered. To do this you can use applications such as Photoshop, Gimp, Paint.net, JASC PaintShop, and many others.

Yes, I used GIMP after duplicating them, I used color select to pick the BN black and green, made it look weathered, and made the nose stripes yellow. Then I reskinned the number board.

RRpics.net is a great place for skin prep. Find one you want to model.

After that, Bdaneal had an undecorated on his site IIRC?

Do those SD-9s come with ARN? If they do, you probably want to avail yourself of that at some point (Though if you're just starting skinning, maybe wait till later, I've heard theres a process that comes with dealing with ARN, and IDK what it is, though JCitron probably does, lol, hes very knowledgeable).
