SD60E Fuel Consumption

Question for anyone connected with Jointed Rail

I am working on creating sessions for one of my rather large routes and the primary Loco I am using is the JR SD60E
The issue I am having is I want to perform refueling operations during the sessions, but even with fuel consumption active
and running in realistic mode my SD60E's only seem to consume about 7 to 8 liters per hour regardless of load or speed

I am just wondering if there is any way to increase this consumption amount as I believe that this is only about 10% of real world usage
and of course as you already know your assets are pretty well locked from any config or script mods

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

The fuel rate for the SD60E should be 8 gallons per hour at idle, and 194 gallons per hour at full throttle. In Trainz this will be interpolated into a rate per notch that will be used to subtract fuel from the fuel queue.

C-like:
fuelConsumed = fuelConsumed + (fuelRate[iNotch] * time);

This is fairly straightforward and it isnt even required to be in realistic driving mode, as long as consumable queues are on the fuel should go down at that rate.

I understand what you are saying They are using roughly 8 gallons per hour in my session

But then why does the Diesel Fuel commodity load on the SD60E when full show a unit count of 15142
when fuel tanks on these locos was between 3900 and 4500 Gallons depending on road number

am I missing something is there a Trainz Math here that I am unaware of

Sorry for being a pain but this is driving me crazy
