Good evening everyone!
So, after many years, it seems I've returned to Trainz a bit, because I miss it, I have to admit. I can't "play" it, due to lack of proper resources, but content creation has always interested me more than train driving on the screen. After a bunch of old FMA models were uploaded to DLS thanks to my friend Kilanziom, I also dug up some old stuff that might be worth sharing.
One of my favorite layouts was this South London junction. I never worked it out and I never will. Maybe you do.
I started this map 20 years ago, for my own amusement, because I found it exciting. I was impressed by British railways in general, and the busiest station in the country in particular. The map covers the network from Clapham Junction to Victoria Station and Waterloo, showing the connecting lines. The track layout was made based on Google Earth images and of course reflects the state of things twenty years ago. I believe it is quite accurate - you will probably find errors in it, in which case feel free to correct them. The map is practically "empty" apart from the tracks and some landmarks, all the objects in use can be found on the DLS. So the construction is waiting for you, any activity in Trainz causes me unbearable pain - because of my pre-flood computer. I hope you find it useful or at least interesting, if so, please let me know.
It will be available on DLS within hours.
cheers
vendel
