screenshots don't work

(enter witty phrase here)
hello all again,
new problem, i can't seem to capture screenshots. I think theres supposed to be a folder C/Program Files/Auran/TRS2004/Screenshots but it doesn't exist. I push the print screen key with control or shift or nothing, I also have irfanview but there is nothing. Losing my hair fast....

I use a free program called FS Screen. It allows you to place screenshot files wherever you like. Alternatively, for single screenshots, press the Print Screen button and then open up MS Paint, click Edit and click Paste in the drop down menu.

Best wishes,
Padster

Hi jazza1281,

When taking a screenshot do NOT use the shift or control key, just press the printscreen key on it's own. Try the printscreen key before you create the screenshot folder, it may be created automatically.

Cheers,

When you press Print Screen the photo automatically gets copied to your Clipboard. If you open "Paint" or any photo editing utility you have such as Adobe Photoshop or Ulead then click Edit and Paste As New Image the screeny will be available there. If you Download the free trial version of FRAPS http://www.fraps.com/ it gives much better results (on my PC) than Print Screen, which always looks dark...:(

Thanks

Thanks for that. I always thought it was a trainz thing while the game was running. I try to post some screenies soon...

Print Screen should be the only thing required to make a screenshot. When you press it, Trainz should save each shot in the screenshots folder. You can press it as many times as you want, and all of the shots should save as TGA files. As Bill69 said, the folder might not be created until you actually take a screenshot.
If that doesn't work out, I'm sure some of the other suggestions will work just as well, if not better, but it's somewhat odd that this feature isn't working in my opinion.
