Screen Grabbing

Hi there to all. We all (or most of us) know how to get a screenshot of our desktop, but what about a video of our desktop.
I would really like to be able to produce videos of my routes I've created, but haven't a clue on what to use. Freeware would be great. Anyone got any ideas please?

FRAPS is ok but seeing you are in the UK if you bought your PC at PC World there's a chance it won't record sound if your PC has a RealTek sound card built in.
