Thanks to all the fans out there for their support on this little 24 inch gauge route based on the Maine 2 footers. The route has recently surpassed the 10000 download mark solidly placing it in the top 100 downloaded routes of all time. I made this a long time ago along with the various unique custom content items. It is nice to see that there are still fans out there that appreciate the simple routes and fun operations.

Great Route!
I tried to post picture. It didn't work.

In response below: I was looking for I kuid and found this thread. I thought that I'd post a picture. No body is probably looking at his though...

Actually, it is good that it got bumped as I am in the process of preparing all the SR$RL content prior to uploading it to the DLS. There is quite a bit of re-arranging to do so I would guess about two weeks. Meanwhile, if you want to follow up on Slugsmasher's route, visit www://Trainzone.co.nz for the current locos and rolling stock.

SR&RL content on the DLS sounds great!

On a side note, I feel less stupid now :D

And how does one get a picture to show up in a post?

The way I do it is to upload the .jpg image to one of my hosted sites and then post the link here using the 'insert image' (square with four black corners'. There are also sites that you can use, see what other people do.

A question for you. What commodities would be shipped in the SR&RL boxcars in the 1920-1940 era.

No need to feel stupid about posting, it is better to post an old thread rather than start a new one. People forget that a thread can contain useful information which never goes out of date. I don't understand why people have this 'thing' about reviving old threads

The session Kuid > 156948:100092 - "Life on the River, Day 1" - seems to be un-available on the Black Pages, or the DLS?

If Slugsmasher could look into this? Robb5351 is the creator, yet I do not find anything under his ID, on black pages or on the dls.

Anyone have the CDP for the session?

Rico

Use content manager Search, Life on the Sandy River Day 1 and it comes up, it's incorrectly categorised as misc which is why you can't find it under Sessions.

Its robb5351 by the way, lower case r, user names are case sensitive.

@clam1952 > Thanks for your reply.

The session does not come up on the black pages or the DLS for me, Result blkpages by kuid > http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php?SearchCriteria=156948:100092&textsearchID=1&DLS_TopListing=0

By Title ? Nope > http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php?SearchCriteria=156948:100092&textsearchID=1&DLS_TopListing=0

Nor on the DLS,

By author, kuid or title so, once again, I ask, that Slugsmasher respond, or if someone has the session cdp, or can cdp it up for me, I would really appreciate the effort.

Rico

So what do you want to hear from Slugsmasher exactly?? That the content belongs to robb5351 and is no longer on the DLS as you already know??

Given the build number of 2.0, the scripts will not be compatible with your registered copies of TS2010 and TS12 anyway.

That was an unnecessarily sarcastic, and condescending remark Forest-Runner, Not appreciated. It's obvious what I'm asking.

The session is listed as available, I have the route and wish to use it. If its' not available, then perhaps it should be removed from his website.

Rico

Hello Rico,
I have updated the Sandy River scenario page on my website with a direct link to the cdp. I have no idea if the scenario will work in any Trainz version above 2.0 and cannot provide any support for it so you are on your own.

Direct link here

Narrowgauge has started some activity to update all the Maine two footer stuff to current standards so watch this Thread for the latest offerings.

Hello Slugsmasher :)

Thank you for the link and the reply.

I will let you know if the scenario works.

I've been embellishing and tweaking your clearlake V@layout for months, and have plans to add boards and have some mainline action for the portal end and maybe add some more logging spurs. I love the layout as it is, just needed more scenicking and lots and lots of details :)

Rico

OOps !!

Looks like the CDP for the scenario is damaged?

I am getting this error message > Error: Failed to install asset <kuid:156948:100092> (Failed to decompress data. Content package may be damaged)

CDPBrowser won't open the file either, seems the config is missing

Just checked the download here, same error and no config. Unless Slugsmasher has another copy, it looks like you might be out of luck, that may be the reason it was removed from the DLS. Just checked my 2009 install and I don't appear to have ever had it although it has the route. The route appears to have grown some inappropriate SpeedTrees in TS12 other than that it's still ok.

@clam1952 > Well, considering the fully developed nature of the scenario.... That Doth Sucketh ! :P

Maybe Ryan still has the intact file.... One Can Only Hope :)

The DLS has nearly all the SR&RL content, updated to build #2.9. The items missing are those that were made by others, the snow plow, and the Forneys. I have the milk car 59 under construction, probably followed by one of the bogie flangers and another snow plow. I am open to suggestions if anything else is needed.

If I can recover more of my enthusiasm, currently a little bit lacking, I will tackle a Forney, probably WW&F #7 with outside frames.

Ok took the backup (checked config and files - ok) and imported to T2010 and then repackaged cdp. Also providing zip file of original scenario files from my backup if the cdp does not work. I do not have any of the SRRL stuff installed in my 2010/12 so did not test the actual scenaro. Have fun.

cdp

zip
