Run Time Monitor

WCL

Canadian National
Anyone know how to get rid of this stupid option? All of a sudden it showed up when downloading this route called 0Lake Ebony and Southern

It also messed up the CTRL D when trying to uncouple cars....

And for some reason it wont let you decouple any cars now for some reason as you get the white knuckles

You have to select the train and have a driver in it in order to decouple, otherwise the couplers remain white.

I have no idea what that is either.

It's part of Pierre Guy's rules. As far as I know, if you don't click on it and it won't show up. You can also remove rules from the session if you really have to avoid seeing the menu option.

Couplers are white if there is a rule preventing decoupling (e.g. a session rule saying users cannot decouple these cars). Check in Session rules.

Hi

That particular Runtime Monitor is showing you the numbers of triggers, fixed crossings and trc items on your route and in the session caches. It will also tell you how many junctions, trackmarks, signals, drivers etc when you add them. In my sessions, which make full use of Pieres rules and driver commands, there are 7 Runtime Monitors which are invaluable for diagnosing why a train has got stuck at a particular signal or junction.

Far from being stupid, the Runtime Monitors are excellent routines for diagnosing issues in sessions that use such things as Enhanced Interlocking Towers and Mission codes etc., although I suppose that you might view them as stupid if you don't understand what they are and what they do. The window is like any other in that clicking on the cross in the top right corner will close it.

Regards

Brian
