I think what you are describing is the Schedule Library Rule.
You still have to select the individual driver commands separately, but you build your lengthy schedules in the Schedule Library where you can arrange them, name them, and sort these driver command strings into groups.
Once you've built the schedules in the Schedule Rule, you need to now place them using the Driver-command Copy Commands From... Remember, both need to be enabled in order to activate them prior to use.
