@Andrew and Whistlesound: where did you get those weeds, prairie, and grass open field textures from??
Hey Kingstonflyer, that second shot with the NS Geep in it reminds me of CP trains on the D&H Bridgeline in the 90's/early 2000's
Your right about that. :hehe: The Bridge Line is amazingly beautiful in the winter & fall. I have a YouTube channel with videos on the line near & around the Binghamton area if you would like a link. Some have Notch-8 SD40'sThanks Guys glad you like,
Nice spotting kittycraft I had been watching a 'Green Frog' DVD on the Southern Tier set in the early 2000's which inspired me to build that consist. The production did do a sidetrack where they chased a CP train out of Binghamton and up Beldon Hill, outstanding sights & sounds with lash ups of 5 to 6 CP SD40-2's in notch 8 going hard out, that's railfanning gold lol!!!
A beautiful part of the country,I'd like to model one day in surveyor as I'm kind of looking for a proto project to sink my teeth into.
I'll know now who to bale up for info if it ever happens:hehe:
Andrew.
I mainly use 'Hi-res' textures now, a combination of the TS09 builtin textures & fellow team member 'motorbreath' textures from the DLS.
Lov'n these models Milos the texture work is the best I've seen on a North American loco in the virtal world(must post these on a MSTS site somewhere:hehe, and thanks for the intro to StL&H.
