Roy almost killed by giant killerbees

It is big difference if those were wasps, hornets or bees. There also makes difference if attacked person is allergic or not. Once I remember to get 12 wasp stings at once, so I became pretty immune.... I wish him to get well soon anyway.
 
How terrible, hope you have a speedy recovery.
I really can't stand wasps/hornets, I despise them. The most pointless creature on this planet. I have a large can of "Raid Wasp Killer" on my patio table at all times from Spring to Autumn.

All Trainzers thank you for the overwelming reaction.
Roy is stable and recovering and probably will be back on trainz very soon.
It was yes Asian giant hornet bites that have a lot of toxin.
One lucky bite in the neck could have been the killer one but not to deep, on his back and arm the worst ones but new medication and shots from nurses make him sleep well last night.
He promise to answer every one of you very soon.
Amazing how this forum is a real group of Trainz friends which is major part of healing for him.

I'm glad he is improving. Funny how my idea of paradise does not include "Giant Asian Hornets"...:eek:
 
Hornets scare the life out of me, I saw one in Florida a couple of years ago, they are big and they are very noisy, you cannot say you cannot hear them. I am so glad they don't live in the UK, they come here sometimes, mostly in the South of the UK but not that often as they get eaten by the birds and other wildlife here.

We have smaller versions of hornets called wasps, they can be little horrors, but they very rarely attack in numbers, they get cheesed off at the slightest thing, and then just sting for the fun of it.

I understand that we need wasps, as they eat all the bugs on the flowers which can be harmful to bees.

We have the other type of wasp in the UK, it is a public menace, also known as the traffic warden, these are quick little bleeders who are dressed like wasps, who like to sting all the money out of you.

I hope Roy is ok and recovers quickly, I think he will look at a hornet in the future and run the other way, like I did in Florida.

Sounds like a horror story and glad Roy is making a recovery but I ( and other people, I suspect ) haven't a clue who Roy is and why he's so well known, can someone enlighten me ( us ) please.
