Routes & scenarios missing

Hi everyone.
I have downloaded & installed a route & a scenario from content manager. When I load Trainz & go to routes or scenarios they don't come up. Can anyone tell me where they might have gone. Am I missing a step in the procedure or am I doing something wrong.
I think I saw something about committing them, if this is correct, how do I do this?
Thanks to all who help us novices solve problems.
Trainman. :o

Luckily, I'm one of them.

Firstly, I need to check what operating system you are running. If it is Windows Vista or Windows 7, you will need to do the following proceedure (if you haven't already):

1.Right-click the Trainz shortcut on the desktop.
2.Click Properties.
3.Click Compatibilty.
4.If there is not already a tick there, click in the box labelled 'Run this program as an administrator'
5.Click OK.

To commit an item (or items) in Content Manager:
1.Click the Open for Edit tab at the top of the Content Manager screen.
2.Press Ctrl+A to select all of the items listed (if that does not work, click the first one, hold the shift key down, then click the last one)
3.Press Ctrl+M to commit the items - a progress bar will appear showing you the status of the commit. Click Close when the button becomes available (make sure it is a close button, not a cancel button) - if it is TRS2006, it may close automatically)

Also, check if there are any missing items for that route/session - if there is a yellow ? next to it, drag it over to the Download Helper box, then click Start to download the missing parts. A mooing sound will tell you when that is done.

EDIT: If there is any part of it that you do not understand, please ask. I can clarify it for you.

Is "favorites" enabled. 2010 comes with "favorites" enabled. In game, on the Routes screen, at the top of the route list. If the star is gold colored click on it. It will turn gray. This turns "favorites" off. All routes will then show.
