Hello. Can I transfer a route from TS19 in TANE ?? I tried to do this, but outside the textures there is no other content on the map. Hoping that there is a solution, I thank you in advance.

If you downloaded a T:ane-compatible route into TRS19 Content Manager then you can export it to CDP and import that CDP into T:ane. If you saved the route from TRS19 you can't use it in T:ane as the build number is not recognised.

In addition to the mentioned build number difference between the formats, there are some internal file differences as well.

From a few examples that I have seen, routes/sessions saved in TRS19 sometimes do show up in TANE CM but they will have their status shown as "incompatible".

It's about saving a route in TS19 and transferring to TANE. I tried changing the build number in the config file, but the result is the one mentioned above...

No, Trainz routes are not backward compatible. You cannot save a route in TANE, for example, and load it into TS12. It is not even possible, so I believe, to save a route in TANE SP2 and load it into the original release of TANE. A saved TRS19 route cannot be loaded into TANE. They all use different file formats PLUS some of the features, behaviours and asset properties are quite different. These cannot be replicated in the earlier version of Trainz. Its a bit like saving a complex document in Word 365 and expecting it to load straight into Word 2 without any errors.

The build number is tied to the asset format. You can't just change a build number and expect the asset to work at that new number. Sometimes it will: sometimes it won't. For routes that have the build number changed back, it won't.

If there are working things in an older Trainz version that error in newer Trainz versions then you should replace them in the older Trainz version in a route then import to the newer Trainz version. I found that merging routes in 19 sometimes causes Trainz to hang, but doesn't in TANE or 22 I believe. Then the only solution would be to move the routes you want to merge into 22 then merge them. Which version of Trainz is the most stable with the fewest bugs yet is compatible with most assets? I guess none because even 22 might have some bugs and some older assets will have errors.
