route recommendations US/Canada

What's a really good detailed US/Canada route I should download when I get TRS2019? (which should be soon, thanks to my mom saving up money for a new secondary computer)

I know there's already UMR2020 but i'm looking for ones that have stuff like grades, hills, tunnels, bridges, high speed areas, multiple track areas, etc.

Which version/program will you have? SP1, Silver, Plus, Platinum? Are you getting a regional edition? Are you looking for payware or freeware on DLS or perhaps 3rd party A little more detail will help people to answer. Not to mention that some some of the more demanding routes may not run well if you don't have the right computer setup.

Hi John2002. I just bought 2019 Platinum, and after I did, I noticed they had given me a 2-day FCT with it. One way to pick up assets fast is to download routes. Even if you don't like the route in the long run and delete it, you still have the assets. However I think there are lots of good routes updated for 2019 that you will get a lot out of. You don't say if you are interested in Model railroads, so some are included below. There are some very good ones by philskene. Some very good 2019 (all version 4.6) routes are listed below:

ONE VERY LARGE CAVEAT: This list would easily be 3 times larger except for three things: 1. I did not include those I have with missing dependencies, as that is a lot of work, and 2. I did not include a LOT of outstanding routes from Europe, The UK, New Zealand and Australia, because you specifed the US and Canada. If you like I can recommend some highly recommended routes from those areas. and 3. I did not include some outstanding routes that are 4.5 and below as I concentrated on 4.6. But earlier routes by msgsapper, danddhud, and others are very much recommended.

you can include UK, EU, and AUS/NZ routes now, I figured that the standard gauge ones can easily fit US/Canada trains (especially Australia)

I see in the list above nine of the routes are mine. They all use only built-in and Download Station content. I have also uploaded sessions for them.

Each has a reasonably detailed write up in the Forums. You might like to see what you will be getting before you download. To do this, do an Advanced Search of the Forums, thus:

Honestly the routes I feel like getting are:
UMR2020 (DLS)
EK3 (The Erecting Hall)
Baltimore to Connellsville and West Mega Route (DLS)
Horseshoe Curve (Flamerailzz)
Sherman Hill (TrainzItalia)
Maybe even the DLC Mojave Sub that costs like $10.00

had these routes when I had TS2MAC (I had UMR2015 and the B&O and W&M Mega Route though and I didn't have Flamerailzz Horseshoe Curve but rather the extremely revolting one on the DLS that isn't even to scale)

I'm trying to remember the name of this route that was mainly set in a desert-like area (Los Angeles?) had these various highways, bridges, a tall portal area, and had a ATSF FP45 on the turntable at one point. I recall it being a 3rd party route that I downloaded from some website when I had TS2MAC back in June 2015

the reason I made this thread is because i'm so tired of all of the mobile-built routes uploaded to the DLS every day that were clearly built by children. There's like thousands of them now.

I also feel like downloading Dragon's Pass (DLS) because sometimes I can have a little extreme fun
