Route is not saving.

I have been working on a route for the last few weeks and now all the work i did last night did not save. two days ago as i was working on it trainz crashed on me not sure why but since then it wont save the route.

TRS06 or TS12? What operating system does your 'puter use? What 'Save' options have you tried - Save, Save As, Save route, Save session? What were you doing when Trainz crashed? Was it a 'controlled' crash (crash report screen present) or did it just bomb out? Did it crash all the way to the desktop or just to the Trainz menu? Did you install any new content just before it crashed? Were you placing new content on the route when it crashed?

I could go on with a zillion other questions, but the point is that to give any meaningful reply we need more to go on...

If it's TRS2006, not setting the Folder/File properties to read/write (if using Vista or above) can cause problems saving.

Leaving autosave switched "on" can cause problems and crashes in TRS2006 if the above step is not taken.

Unfortunately while we've all been caught with this, getting engrossed in some detailing and forgetting to save, regular saving every 5 - 10 mins or after doing something significant is an essential discipline to acquire. Saving probably releases memory that the programme is using to hold details of the work you've done, out of memory crashie crashie.

TRS2012 and running windows 7, i havent had any problems before with it till this last route im working on.
