Road splines

I'm trying to install a YARNish Divided Highway spline and its not installing I got it off the download station and downloaded it with no problem but it wont install the icon it shows says local and I've had this problem with other items too, and not just road splines but with rail cars, locos, buildings. So what I want to know is how do I fix this because like this road spline I need a lot of these items for my routes and some of them are old items that have come from older versions of the game but every time there is a new patch I lose certain items and a couple of times the patches have caused me to lose whole routes that I have built, so how do I stop this from happening in the future?????????

What kinds of problems?

Check Content Manager and tell us what kinds of errors. Most of the errors are easily repaired. The errors were always there. The newer patch and update reports more of them now and marks the content as broken. The fewer errors we have, the more reliable and better performing TSxxx will be.

There's a difference between 'installing' and 'committing' an asset. Have you done both?
