Hi folks, its been such a long time since I was last doing stuff for the Trainz community. It is strange, I look down just a couple of posts and see my name mentioned. Some of you folks must have extremely long memories and I am honoured to see that my models are still remembered!
Now that I have a lot of time on my hands (long term disability and out of work), I would like to get back into modelling and making them available. The question I would like to ask is this:
I still have TRS2004 and UTC, but that is about it. I cant really afford to get the latest version as I barely have enough cash for food these days. Would I really need to get the latest version to be able to model and test? I know that the older models were compatible, but I would imagine that the animation side is more complex now and you do much more with scripting. I have to admit the latest and greatest looks awesome and there have been many improvements.
I cant imagine how how the road system works now. I spent ages getting One Way roads working in UTC
I believe I still have all my original models on a CD somewhere
So your thoughts please?
Many thanks
Kess
